Staying at Avora Boutique Hotel puts you in the sweet spot for Da Nang's urban attractions. The Markets: You are positioned between two major markets. Con Market (Cho Con) is about a 10-minute walk west; this is the best place for authentic street food (try the "Banh Xeo" or "My Quang" in the food court). Han Market (Cho Han) is about a 10-minute walk east toward the river; this is better for buying souvenirs, dried fruits, and coffee.
The Bridges: The hotel is very close to the Han River Bridge (the swing bridge). In the evenings, you can walk to the riverside promenade (Bach Dang Street) to enjoy the breeze and the sculptures. The famous Dragon Bridge is a bit further (about 20 minutes walking), but easily accessible for the weekend fire show (Saturday/Sunday at 9:00 PM).
Da Nang Cathedral or the Pink Church is also just a short walk away. It’s a beautiful spot for photos and still serves as a Catholic church.
Local Dining: All those small alleys around Le Duan are full of local spots. Just in the next block from the hotel, there are shops selling Banh Mi and Ca Phe Sua Da (coffee with milk) both very popular among locals.
